Melanie joined the Foundation staff in 2006. She has a bachelor’s degree in Human Development & Family Studies from Texas Tech University and over 12 years of experience in non-profit case management, program oversight, and development.
Brooks L. Powell, Educational Programs Coordinator

Brooks joined The Gordie Foundation in 2008 to spearhead the first-annual National GORDIEday campaign. He now manages all Circle of Trust chapters around the world, including new chapter development and recruitment efforts. In addition to his responsibilities at the Foundation, Brooks is working to finish up his senior year at Southern Methodist University with majors in political science and Spanish.

Michelle has a degree in advertising and communications from the University of Texas at Arlington. She joined the Foundation's team in 2008. Michelle coordinates all matters related to public relations and e-commerce.
Doug Reed, Internet Communications Specialist

Doug is a junior business major at Baylor University in Waco, TX. On board since May 2008, his responsibilities include managing internet communications, specifically the Foundation's charitable cause page on facebook.com.
